We are adding a Web Designer/Developer, a key position in our organization. This is an exciting career opportunity and we're looking for a superstar to fill this role.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
PaySimple is seeking a Web Designer/Developer to execute and implement strategic product and marketing initiatives, in collaboration with PaySimple's business teams. The Web Designer/Developer will be expected to play a key role on the cross-functional team responsible for the strategic development of new creative ideas that deliver on key business performance metrics. The Web Designer/Developer will also own the tactical implementation of these creative initiatives, from design to production.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Responsible for the design and implementation of marketing and product initiatives, such as marketing websites, media landing pages, on-demand software solution, email campaigns, newsletters, and any other online elements of PaySimple services
* Provides company expertise in technical knowledge and skills, such as interactive design, user experience, marketing techniques and consumer demand, and applies them to PaySimple's business objectives
* Fosters an open, efficient, and productive atmosphere within the creative production process
* Continually drives emerging creative/design technology and pushes to adopt these technologies in PaySimple's environment
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
* Undergraduate degree in graphic design or experience in a related field is a must
* Minimum of 3-5 years experience in online design at an agency, studio or contractual work
* Knowledge of visual design, information design, and interaction design
* Project management skills are critical including adaptability, time management and meeting objectives
* Strong creative problem solving abilities
* Must be flexible and resilient with the ability to give and take direction from multiple teams within the organization
* Ability to interact with Senior Management, Marketing, Product Management, Technology, and other internal teams
* Required software and technical knowledge: Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, HTML/CSS, ASP.net, Flash
* Other web development languages and technologies are a plus, as well
