Manager, Reporting & Customer Analytics - Louisvil

Will drive the strategy and develop the programs that allow GHX to
measure how effectively our services reduce costs within our healthcare
markets.

Will examine the utilization and penetration of GHX products within
relevant market segments to continuously measure the overall savings and
results achieved by GHX customers, from the market level (as measured by
the $5B in 5 goal), across product lines, mapping to results at the
individual customer level.



As a result of this role, GHX will have a continuous understanding and
measurement of how effectively GHX products and services drive cost
reductions and improve business processes in healthcare.



Principle duties and responsibilities:

* Uses predictive modeling, statistics, trend analysis, and
other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and identify the
right data to be analyzed from internal and external sources. Then
constructs software systems and algorithms to explain or predict
customer behavior and solve a variety of business problems.

* Performs on-going measurement, modeling and forecasting of
performance against GHX strategic goal of reducing healthcare costs by
$5B in 5 years ("5 in 5"). Reports to executive team on performance
metrics, and makes recommendations for adjustments needed to improve
performance.

* Works in partnership with corporate reporting team, developing
business requirements to direct the creation of detailed solutions from
technical designs in the GHX Enterprise Business Intelligence
environment, consisting of SQL Server and Oracle databases, various ETL
workflows, Business Objects XI solutions, and other toolsets and
solutions.

* Works to develop and maintain 3rd party validation of GHX
measurement processes.

* Works in partnership with the marketing leadership and
executive team to develop corporate communication strategies related to
customer and product value information.

* Performs on-going measurement of customer performance using
GHX tools.

* Works in partnership with sales leadership, product
management, product marketing and others to develop sales assessment
measurement tools.

* Based on "5 in 5" model, directs development of automated
tools to forecast savings for prospects, and actual savings for existing
customers.

* Determines best practice methodology to measure savings and
results based on actual customer achievement.

* Supervises Customer Analytics Program Manager.

* Maintains high quality standards while meeting required
deadlines.

Required Skills:

* Ability to develop business models to track and project actual
and forecasted performance against corporate goal of $5B in 5 years.

* Ability to quickly build proficiency of GHX products and
services, and related customers' business processes.

* Must be able to own projects and deadlines, work with minimal
direction, and adapt quickly and efficiently to change.

* Proficient working with large-scale business data sets.

* Proven database skills for querying and reporting within SQL
Server and Oracle databases, with the ability to leverage strong
knowledge of reporting tools, e.g. Business Objects, Crystal Reports,
etc.

* Must be able to multi-task, function effectively under
production deadlines and time constraints, and be able to manage time
efficiently in a fast-paced environment, while demonstrating an
energetic 'can do' disposition.

* Ability to think in abstract terms to formulate innovative
solutions and ideas.

* Must possess well-developed communication skills (verbal and
written), to include proactively communicating with others on workload
issues and needs, and the progress of work and results.

* Must possess strong organizational skills, attention to
detail, and ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Process Engineering,
Statistics, Computer Science , or related field. Advanced degree in
Statistics and/or Computer Science desired.

* 10+ years of professional experience in financial modeling,
corporate metric reporting, and performance analysis.

* Database skills - Oracle, SQL Server.

* Report writing skills, Business Objects preferred.

* Analytical skills to create business forecasting models
related to performance of "5 in 5" goal.

* Healthcare or Supply Chain industry experience preferred.
