A bachelor's degree is preferred with a minimum of 1 to 3 years in Software Quality Assurance. Experience with testing web based applications. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously Familiar with multiple web browsers and OS platforms. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. A knowledge of finance and the financial markets is a plus.

What You Offer:
The Data Solutions Team at Wall Street on Demand (WSOD) is looking for a dedicated team member that can use their Data Analyst skills to work with project managers and engineers to get financial data placed quickly and accurately on client websites. This includes interfacing with vendors to understand the data provided and communicating that information internally. We need someone who can troubleshoot data issues in SQL databases and get to the root cause. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable interfacing with both internal and external clients as well as vendors.
Job Responsibilities
* Tier 3 support for data issues as reported through client channels
* Brainstorming new and interesting ideas to increase data quality
* Assist in the definition for the data requirements for projects
* Manage vendor feed upgrades throughout WSOD
* Manage small internal projects across multiple departments
Skills Required
* Critical thinking and creative problem solving
* Interest in financial data and the efficient handling of data
* Strong ability to multitask and maintain composure while fielding multiple requests for information on a daily basis
* Eagerness to be challenged with new tasks and responsibilities
* Self-starter with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, demanding environment
* Effective and efficient time management and organization skills
* Programming or SQL development skills
* Familiarity with exchange compliance policies and procedures a plus.
Job Qualifications:
* Education - Bachelor's degree
* 1 -3 years experience as a Business or Data Analyst.
