The City and County of Denver is looking for two Sr. Information
Technology Project Managers that will focus on our Foundational
Technologies and Development Services initiatives as a member of our
Program Management Office (PMO) team. These are LIMITED positions with
an expected length of approximately three years.
Our Technology Services Division (IT) is using state-of-the-art
technologies and methodologies to deliver and improve the systems,
applications and operations that we deliver to our Mile High City. We
are building a premier PMO to increase our efficiency and effectiveness

The Foundational Technologies PM will focus on our Service Oriented
Architecture (SOA), Business Intelligence (BI) and/or Identity
Management (IdM) projects as defined by our Technology Services (IT)
Department and in support of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) team. The
selected individual will provide project management expertise and
assistance to the EA team by managing projects initiated in the
Foundational Technologies program by establishing and managing projects,
tasks, etc. in support of the evolving and ongoing technical and
business practices in SOA, BI and IdM.
The Development Services PM will focus on the Development Services (DS)
IT projects, such as Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) product
evaluation/implementation/customization to meet specific departmental
business requirements as defined by the DS team. The selected
individual will be responsible for definition and clarification of
business requirements for IT technical projects resulting in clearly
defined/understood technical solutions. This role will assist in the
RFP process, vendor evaluation and selection while supporting the
Development Services IT Advisory Council (ITAC) via applied project
management expertise and advice on the sizing, classifying and scoping
of all potential projects proposed by the DS program.
