Product Manager



Responsible for the development of specific product strategies and
specific product plans that support Intrado's corporate objectives
and meet or exceed customer expectations and market demands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Responsible for new product development of one or more
products/services.

· Manages the development process to include conducting
review meetings; establishes master schedules and resolves schedule
conflicts.

· Develops promotional materials and trains sales people.

· Prepares financial forecasts and tracks actual expenses
against forecast.

· Responsible for one or more product(s)/service(s)
currently in "life-cycle." Takes product enhancements through
the various phases. Writes business requirements for new products and
enhancements.

· Writes business requirements for enhancements and new
products

· Prepares original Business Cases.

· Contributes to new product ideas and may take ideas before
Business Unit's internal Governance Review Board and/or the
corporate Product Portfolio Review Board.

· Compiles market research and assesses potential market
opportunities.

· Develops annual marketing plans defining the outlook for a
particular product portfolio.

· Develops and delivers customer presentations.

· Assists in pricing of new products and as developing
pricing models.

· Adheres to ISO procedures and documentation protocols.

· Complies with the letter and spirit of the Intrado
Information Security Policy.

· Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing,
Computer Science, or related field and 3 years experience in product
management in telecommunications or telephony (intelligent network
applications, database services or voice and data communications); or
equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred.

· Knowledge of standard business software (Microsoft
Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
