We are currently looking for candidates to fill an Sybase DBA
position in a high impacting, fast paced, and challenging
environment. The candidate selected for this position will be
responsible for working with a team of senior and associate Sybase
DBAs to perform Database administration across production, test, and
development environments. Responsibilities include Sybase database
administration, Sybase server creation, Sybase replication,
environment/database refreshes, code deployment, and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- Sybase to MSSQL server Sybase replication development and support
REQUIRED. (This position will be developing a Sybase to MSSQL
repliction solution to be implimented in production.)
- Strong Sybase database administration in a production support
role.
- Experience supporting in a hosted environment
- Proficient in Sybase 12.0, 12.5.
- Proficient Sybase replication 12.0, 12.5, 12.6
- Unix AIX, Shell programming, Perl
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000
- Product experience - TriZetto's Facets 2.x, 3.x, or 4.x desired.
- Demonstrate excellent judgment to assess highest priorities; able
to manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
