University of Colorado - Support Analyst

The University of Colorado Denver, Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking an Application Support Analyst to manage access issues for the InfoEd Electronic Research Administration application.

Examples of Work Performed:

Answer phone calls and emails from campus InfoEd eRA users
*                    Provide appropriate information to callers
*                    Respond in timely manner to all email inquiries
*                    Troubleshoot and resolve as many problems as possible over the phone regarding access to and use of the InfoEd eRA application
*                    Follow through on calls or emails and work with Module Administrators and/or business offices to resolve user problems as needed

Support and troubleshoot issues with access to InfoEd eRA
*                    Determine if the user's login needs to be reset by campus Office of Information Technology (OIT)
*                    Establish Person of Interest (POI) records if needed to gain access to InfoEd eRA
*                    Troubleshoot and assist with setting up Principal Investigator (PI) delegates for access
*                    Open up trouble tickets with UIS and InfoEd for bugs with the system
*                    Assist with testing fixes as they are applied
*                    Assigned projects as needed

Western Union - Application Support

Applications Support Architect

In this role, you will assist in supporting the global WUBS application supporting money transfers. Individual will act as SME for this application. Candidate must have solid understanding of Java technologies, but not a developer role. Must be able to see the whole picture of a system and understand how it relates and interconnects.

In addition, you will:
* Determine modifications and enhancements to existing  application
* Perform root cause analysis of application errors and plan methodology to correct
* Look to reverse engineer the application for better team understanding
* Will provide documentation to other global team members of modification and enhancements
* Will regularly Interact with business stakeholders
* Will train an mentor others

* 5+ years of experience in IT application support systems.
* Knowledge of Unix, Windows, Oracle, SQL, Networking, File Transfer Methodologies.
* Ability to read Java code and possibly Apache Camel, and DSP Spring for coding requirements
* Solid understanding of Java middleware, Tomcat, Weblogic, Glashfish
* Ideal candidate would have experience with Banking Systems or Foreign Exchange.
* Preferred knowledge of SWIFT, Treasury Workstation orequivalent.
* Programming experience Perl, Python, XML, Batch, SQL and Shell.
* Works well with a team and with non-IT end users.
* Experience with Visio diagrams

eBags - Oracle DBA

The Oracle DBA is responsible for administering the production, test and development databases within eBags in order to achieve the required availability, performance, security and physical design needed to support the business goals of the enterprise.

Job Responsibilities
·        Daily administrative tasks associated with all database instances (i.e., production, test and development) spanning both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
·        Define, document and enforce best practices around database availability, security and performance.
·        Enforce best practices for planned releases of DDL, DML, triggers, procedures, etc. as well as ad hoc updates against production database instances.
·        Support and improve upon existing high availability and backup & recovery processes.
·        Perform patches and upgrades as needed across the database environment.
·        Proactively monitor all database instances for the purpose of finding issues with space, errors & exceptions, instance performance and statement & object performance.
·        Work directly with business area owners and development team members to design logical data models that meet business requirements while maintaining consistency and extensibility across the entire data architecture.
·        Design the physical data architecture to be highly performant and consistent with the goals of the logical design.
·        Perform database replication across test and development instances in support of ongoing development projects and weekly release schedules.
·        Design and implement data load, replication and transformation processes for the purpose of master data management across production database instances.
·        Enforce consistent, meaningful and extensible architecture standards, object naming standards and coding standards.
·        Document and improve upon key processes for the purpose of repeatability and efficient execution.
·        Work in an on-call rotation with other DBA’s.
  
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
·        Demonstrated knowledge of relational database availability, performance, and security principles, concepts, and tools
·        Demonstrated knowledge and skill with database backup and recovery models, processes, and utilities
·        Demonstrated knowledge of current DBMS products, primarily Oracle 11g, 12c and MS SQL Server, as well as knowledge of related technologies, applications, and processes
·        Proficient with database performance monitoring tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager
·        Proficient with SQL, PL/SQL, packages, procedures, triggers, etc.
·        Proficient with data modeling tools
·        Proficient with both Linux and MS Windows OS commands
·        Proficient with ETL solutions like MS SSIS a plus
·        Strong interpersonal, analytical, and logical skills
·        Strong communications, writing, and presentation skills
·        Proven ability to communicate on a business and technical level
·        Must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, multi-tasking, and results-focused environment
·        Ability to work in an on-call rotation
·        Ability to work effectively and efficiently with little supervision
  
Experience and Education Requirements
·        3+ years of DBA experience, primarily in Oracle but also some MS SQL Server environments
·        2+ years of experience administering high availability, high performance, and high transaction processing database environments on both Oracle and MS SQL Server platforms
·        1+ years of experience conducting performance monitoring and tuning operations within Oracle and MS SQL Server environments
·        1+ years of experience administering security protocols within Oracle and MS SQL Server environments
·        1+ years of experience with logical data modeling and data architecture in support of medium to large software development projects a plus
·        1+ years of experience with designing and implementing ETL processes as well as with data initialization, loading, and conversion projects a plus
·        1+ years of experience creating and maintaining database documentation, diagrams, and procedures
·        Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and work experience

Position Summary

Billtrust is seeking an experienced Web Developer (C#) to join our growing
team. The Web Developer is a mid-level technical contributor who has
demonstrated expertise in a variety of engineering concepts, practices, and
procedures.  He/she has the ability to design, modify, develop, write and
implement software applications.

The Web Developer will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced
environment to build and support features for our Software-as-a-Service
(SaaS) cash application automation platform.
 
Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design, implement and maintain RESTful web services using an object-oriented language, such as C# or Java

• Strong knowledge in object-oriented Javascript, jQuery, HTML5 and CSS3

• Experience in a front-end MVC framework, such as BackboneJS, Angular.js, etc.

• Ability to unit test both front-end and web service

• Strong knowledge in some flavor of SQL, such as T-SQL or PL/SQL

• Experience with version control, such as Git or TFS

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to meet the demands of a rapidly-changing environment

• Self-motivated and can take ownership of a project with minimal supervision to deliver quality, customer-facing software

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of C# and the .NET framework

• Experience with Coffeescript and BackboneJS

• Extensive knowledge of T-SQL

• Experience with testing frameworks, such as Jasmine and nUnit

• Hands-on experience with designing and implementing web services

• Experience delivering commercial software in an Agile/SCRUM environment
