Job Description:
Datalogix is looking for a Software Engineer to join our existing development team. This position will involve day to day development of new and existing applications based on business requirements. Our work environment is very team oriented which requires good communication skills. We also value generalists over specialists, so the candidate will be expected to play a variety of roles as a member of one of our Agile development teams. We use a variety of technologies, however, we don't expect the candidate to know all of them, we only expect an eagerness to learn and work with all of them.
Responsibilities include:

* Working as a member of an Agile Software Development Team to help implement new functionality based on business requirements.
* Developing new programs and supporting existing programs in Linux and Windows environments.
* Interaction with the Datalogix business and operations teams will be required to assist them in working with clients and working through technical implementation and customer service issues.
* Performance testing in a high volume Internet infrastructure.
* Developing primarily server-side solutions in C# and Java.
* Developing in a variety of database technologies including; Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL and Netezza.
* Limited development, testing and troubleshooting of Javascript and HTML.
* Writing scripts and programs to process and move large volumes of data.
* Troubleshooting of web server issues and incoming web requests from partners and clients.
Skills and Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field preferred.
* Experience working with Javascript and HTML is required.
* Experience developing in either C# or Java is required.
* Experience in either PHP or Perl is required. Linux (Emacs or Vi) experience is required.
* Hands-on experience with administration or development of web servers is required.

How you'll be successful at DLX.
Specifically, you will:

* Develop and execute automated and manual tests for your agile delivery team. The type of tests performed will vary by user story but may include functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, data integrity testing and stress testing as well as assisting with user acceptance testing.
* Identify and log defects, capturing steps to reproduce (actual vs. expected) and relevant details of the issue.
* Investigate root cause of issues through analysis of log files, databases and environments.
* Verify resolutions of tickets through retesting, management and assignment of ticket as required.
* Work with agile team members to help reproduce and further clarify logged issues.
* Demo the finished product to end users, agile delivery teams and other stakeholders.
* Train and coach other team members (developers, testers, and others) how to effectively write automated test scripts and contribute in the build out of the automated test suite
* Test large complex integrated systems by creating and executing automated tests
* Execute manual tests in support of Team goals and deliverables (as required)

Basic Job Purpose: Responsible for overall evaluation, tactical and

company's current and future needs. 6) Ability to lead complex
networking projects. Ensure adherence to Corporate Technology Project
Standard Practices. 7) Compare costs, recommend/select specific
products, and negotiate purchase agreements. 8) Establish standards and
guidelines. 9) Ensures that environment changes are controlled, utilize
the change management process, and meet service levels. 10) Communicate
and coordinate network schedules, and downtime to users. Inform
customers regarding the status of their requests, ensure tracking
software is updated with current information on request status. 11)
Document the LAN/WAN network architecture including hardware,
connectivity, server operating systems, software use and configuration,
and security configuration. 12) Ability to align technology based
solutions with new and existing business requirements. 13) Present
issues, decision factors and recommendations to management. 14) Adhere
to defined service levels and asset management policies and procedures.
15) Assist with technical reviews for new asset purchases. 16) Provide
leadership and assistance to other network technicians and customers.
17) Perform on-call duties and system implementations and upgrades that
may occur after normal business hours and weekends as required to
minimize business impact 18) Other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelors degree in Information Sciences Engineering or
related field and/or commensurate experience..

Experience: 4 + years with Network architecture including, tactical and
strategic planning, technical services for hardware and software, and
production support. 3 + years experience with support and administration
with Windows NT/2000/2003 Server, Windows Workstations, MS Exchange,
TCP/IP, routers, hubs, and switches. Extensive knowledge of LAN/WAN and
multiplatform environments, peripheral device knowledge.

Preferred Certifications: Cisco CCNA &CCNP, Microsoft MCSE 2003, Foundry
FNCNE, CheckPoint CPCSA

Skills: - Strong technical aptitude - Strong analytical, judgment and

Return Path - Systems Administrator

Return Path Systems Administrators are empowered and responsible for the effective and efficient operations of Return Path's products. Including, proactive management of system/server maintenance, generating and adhering to operational standards, collecting measurement data on performance of technical systems and, as part of an integrated agile engineering team, actively participate in the product development and support of Return Path initiatives.

Daily Responsibilities:

* Agile Product Development Team Integration: The SA is responsible for active participation in planning, design, building, testing, releasing, monitoring and supporting Return Path products and services. Effectively use analytical problem solving skills to remove hindrances associated with rapidly deploying new productions solutions and/or resolving technical support issues.
* Performance Data Collection: Ensuring Return Path products and services are properly monitored and reporting of statistical data in regards to performance trending and capacity planning.
* Communication: Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication within the Operations team and expanded agile product development teams. The SA will have a proven track record of demonstrating strong problem solving skills, coupled with the communication of well thought out solutions.
* Standards: Responsible for generating and adhering to operational standards. As well as collaborating with other engineering resources on the product development teams to ensure standards are maintained across product initiatives.
* System Maintenance: Responsible for proactively maintaining the systems and network that supports Return Path's products and services. EchoStar - Software Test Engineer, Staff Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities





Gather test requirements and determine appropriate test cases for
complex, inter-related software functions

Responsible for technical knowledge of most mission-critical test
procedures and test approaches

Lead interactions with cross-functional groups to develop testing and
provide test support

Create and maintain highly technical documentation for test effort

Work with software development to ensure complete understanding of
software and drive quality and testability

Propose new ways of testing and innovative techniques to meet constantly
changing test priorities

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of software lifecycle principles
and software testing processes

Can communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences; can
effectively communicate and document project level test plans and
designs for groups of test procedures

Collaborate with team members for highest quality solutions

Engage with customer to gather suggestions and identify gaps

Complete multiple high-priority tasks and provides effective status;

Education: Associate Engineer: Associates Degree in Computer
Engineering, Computer Science, or other engineering discipline

experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.



Experience

Associate Engineer: Two to four years experience in software testing

Engineer I: Four years experience in a software test engineer role

Engineer II: Four to six years experience in a software test engineer
role; experience as a lead preferred





White box, black box, functional and regression testing

Test planning and ensuring complete test coverage

Testing video content delivery systems

Experience with Microsoft Office tools

Experience with Atlassian tools desirable

We are seeking a Chief Designer of hardware and software Test Automation
systems with the ability to define and evangelize a strategic vision for
the Test Automation discipline. Proven history of defining and
implementing new processes for automation required.

Duties and Responsibilities

Looking for an engineering architect whose primary responsibilities will
be to design and build tools used for automated testing of end-to-end
digital video ecosystems, including set-top box receivers, hand-held
media devices, and web portals.

Priority is placed on customer-facing applications but when available,
effort will be shared with testing internally-developed tools used by
Test, Integration, and Support groups.

Must continually and effectively communicate strategy, opportunities,
and progress to company management and project teams.

Ability to document design concepts, task specifications, and
implementation/test details required.

Will need to routinely study application and process behaviors to
supersede requirements by proactivelyevaluating alternative test
possibilities, scenarios, and potential issues.

Must remain current on new test automation tools and methodologies and
communicate trends and opportunities to management as appropriate.

Ability to examine challenges from both a developer and tester
viewpoints required.



Additional duties include creation and maintenance of functional and
technical design documents. Must be able to coordinate and communicate
with project coordinators and leadership team. Must possessthe ability
to work well in a highly collaborative environment and theprovenability
tocombine skills in architecture and leadership.

Education

BS in Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer
Science, Electrical Engineering, and/or equivalent practical experience
(examples of previous work required). A Masters Degree in the same
disciplines is preferred.

Experience

10 to 15 years experience in design, development, testing, and
architecture.

Skills

Skill sets and knowledge of technologies such C/C++, LabVIEW, Database,
.NET, Continuous Integration, McCabe.

Experience with software development lifecycle workflow and business
intelligence is required.

Must be very analytical and thorough in task completion.

Must be a self-starter and quick learner with exceptional communication
and documentation skills.
