Develop JEE applications as well as standalone Java applications that support the enterprise.
Actively participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Methodology of analysis, requirements gathering and documentation, design, development, code reviews, integration and release management.
Provide active leadership and mentoring to other developers while providing innovation and new ideas.
Actively participate in and demonstrate support of all Colorado Access and department quality initiatives and the department communication strategy.
Perform project management activities identified by the Manager of Application & Data Services
Requirements/Experience:
B.S. in Computer Science and five years progressive work experience in a related field.
5+ years experience developing Java applications and Oracle or MS SQL Server.
Advanced understanding of JEE development patterns.
Experience with JSR-168 or JSR-286 Portal frameworks and servers such as JBoss, Liferay, WebSphere or WebLogic.
Experience with Spring MVC and Dependency Injection, Struts and JSF.
Experience working with JSP, HTML, AJAX, XML and CSS.
Experience working with web service (SOAP, REST) architectures is a plus. Experience with a JavaScript libraries, Alloy UI, jQuery, YUI and PHP is a plus.

PaySimple is looking for a driven, technically-savvy team player to work with developers connecting their applications to PaySimple products through our APIs.
You will be responsible for interaction with and support of third party application developers, and will work closely with PaySimple's product engineering, product management and customer care teams. Qualifications:

Job Description:
The BI Developer will be responsible for the design and development of all reports and reporting mechanisms supported by PaySimple systems. This will include both transactional and BI analytical reports based upon Microsoft Reporting technologies, and will be through multiple channels including SSRS and C# developed Data-Access Layers. This person must have solid experience developing mechanisms for delivery of reports online via browsers as well as via desktop applications, and be fluent in the challenges of working with multiple back-end data-stores simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
• Work with the Enterprise Architect and CTO to formulate the next generation transactional and analytical reporting strategy for use in both in-house and client facing applications delivered via multiple web-based applications
• Work within a mutli-disciplined team to design and develop transactional and analytical reports for delivery via the organization's SaaS product and service offerings
• Work with inter-departmental leads to identify business data warehousing and reporting needs, and develop the business intelligence reports necessary to support the organization's broader BI initiatives
• Work within a multi-disciplined team to develop the C#-based Data Access Layer components necessary to support the BI strategy, while maintaining consistency with architectural best practices and security constructs
• Drive innovation within team and company
Qualifications:
• 5+ years experience and strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 & 2008
• 5+ years experience and strong knowledge of SSRS/SSIS/SSAS 2005 & 2008 and T-SQL
• 3+ years experience using MDX, XQuery, XMLA Queries, and Service Broker
• 3+ years experience in ReportViewer Development (RDLC | server- & client-side modes)
• 3+ years experience in C# / Visual Studio Development
• A background in Transaction Processing and/or Payment Systems is a huge plus
• Experience with PCI Compliance preferred
