Summary
This position will work within Treasury and should have advanced knowledge of financial operations. Main responsibilities will be to manage the Accounts Receivables and Dispute processes and to ensure that both vendors and internal resources follow business guidelines. The primary focus will be to drive results that have a direct impact to cash flow and dispute resolution. The position will also be responsible for supporting the accounting team in all functions that include AR. Accounting tasks will revolve around the month end close and auto invoicing errors.
Essential Duties
- Manage internal and external customer escalations relating to AR and disputes. Assign corrective actions and manage through full resolution.
- Monitor overall AR and dispute progress / measurements and assign priority based on resource availability, customer experience and cash flow requirements.
- Manage the Dunning Program to ensure compliance of payment terms and support a DSO that meets industry standards.
- Manage bad debt accounts which includes termination of contracts and direction to AR resources about when to initiate write offs and coordinate with 3rd party vendors.
- Document dispute process based on BPO instruction and communicate to all stakeholders.
- Identify problems and performance exposure, providing in-depth yet concise analysis of cause and alternative solution approaches.
- Conduct process analysis, identify risk and recommend process improvement to AR / Credit BPO.
- Provide education / training and leadership to less experienced staff and vendors.
- Prepare and present analysis to executive management for collections, cash application, bad debt, credits, DSO and dispute resolution. Provide management with recommendations based on accounting guidelines, best practices and company policies.
- Maintain data management processes in support of finance initiatives.
- Manage special projects as assigned.
- Take lead for finance on all AR processes required for SOX and Audit purposes.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years in financial operations management.

As an Application Developer at Beatport you will work on a 5 to 7 member, cross-functional Agile Scrum team (APP, UI, QA, IT, and of course APP specialties) building solutions to address business and technology needs. You will apply your knowledge and expertise of software design and architecture in a LAMP environment on a daily basis. Developers are encouraged to work with teammates to solve complex problems outside of their specialization where appropriate.
You will also take part in planning sessions at the beginning of each 2 week sprint cycle where you will be responsible for planning, tasking, and estimating user stories. At the end of each iteration you will be involved with release demos where your team shares with the company work completed within the iteration. We have a highly collaborative environment where the team works together with their Product Expert and Stakeholders to define product solutions. Everyone has the opportunity to contribute to our products and share the success of releasing valuable features on a regular basis.

As a Systems Administrator at Beatport you will work on a 4 to 6 member, cross-functional Agile Scrum team (SysAdmin, DBA, Network Admin) building solutions to address business and technology needs. You will apply your knowledge and expertise of high-availability infrastructure design and implementation (including network design, resource planning, systems design, IP based load balancing, geo-diverse load balancing, SaaS/IaaS and virtualization infrastructure) to provide the ability of rapid deployment of bleeding edge services while maintaining infrastructure stability.
