DISH Network - CTI Developer

We are currently seeking a developer to enhance, maintain and support our custom Computer Telephony Integrated (CTI) Client application. The application is written in “C#” (C sharp) on the “.Net” platform using the Windows Forms libraries. The application interfaces with the Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE) CTI Object Server (CTIOS) using the Cisco Client Interface Library (CIL).


The developer will also be responsible for enhancing, maintaining and supporting a set of Microsoft SQL Server Databases, ASP.NET Web Applications, and ASP.NET Web Services that support the CTI Client application.


Support for the UCCE environment including troubleshooting issues with CTIOS and the Cisco CTI client.


Perform assessments of existing CTI deployment and document current environments as required.


Work with clients to develop high-level contact center strategies.


Coordinate with the team in activities including work planning, status reporting and client relationship management.


Establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and vendors.


Participate in internal and client-facing meetings, prepare reports and presentations.


This job requires night and weekend work, both scheduled and unscheduled. This job requires wearing a pager 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during an on-call rotation.

Education Requirements:


Bachelors degree and six years of related experience; or 8 years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience supporting large, multiple call center environments.

Qualifications:


Candidates should have an understanding of telecom concepts, skill based routing, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) and networking fundamentals.


CTI development, configuration, scripting, testing and validation.


Experience in “C#”, “.Net”, Windows Forms development.


Understanding of multithreaded code and concurrency issues.


Understanding of Software Engineering principles, including common Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) models, Unit and System Testing, Version Control, and Documentation practices.


Writes clear, documented, maintainable code.



ASP.Net Web Application and Web Service development.


Microsoft SQL Server Administration and Development including Stored Procedures, Queries, and basic database administration tasks such as database backup, data modeling and table creation, Microsoft Data Transformation Services (DTS) or SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages.


Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.


Ability to write reports business correspondence, and procedure manuals.


Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

This position has responsibility for the planning and development of Tri-State’s bulk electric system at the transmission and sub-transmission levels, including coordination with Member system plans at the distribution, sub-transmission and transmission level.​



The job incorporates some or all of the following, depending on job grade:



· Develop and maintain transmission line, transformer and shunt facility databases.​

· Prepare project information for capital construction budgets.​

· Perform joint planning studies and operating studies with other utilities.​

· Analyze Member System plans and coordinate such plans with planned system additions.​

· Initiate plans for transmission and substation facilities that adhere to established reliability criteria and meet immediate and long-term expansion requirements.​

· Perform transmission interconnection studies.​

· Prepare and maintain detailed Base Case models of the interconnected transmission system for use in the analysis of specific project alternatives, and for use in the coordinated study of systems in the Western Interconnection.​

· Prepare studies and documentation demonstrating compliance with the Reliability Standards of the North American Electric Reliability Corporation.​

· Train engineering colleagues in Power System Planning in the use of tools and techniques used in planning studies; mentor where appropriate.​

· Initiate or participate in the development of long-term transmission plans that are consistent with Tri-State’s Business Plan.​

· Bachelor's degree in related Engineering discipline with Electrical Engineering preferred.​

· Eight (8) years of related electric utility experience in transmission system planning to include system analysis and planning methods, project coordination, and supervisory experience desired.​

· Registered Professional Engineer (preferred, not required).​

· Extensive knowledge of electric utility functions.​

· Working knowledge of government regulations affecting utilities.​

· Working knowledge of budget preparation and administration.​

· Ability to plan, organize, and direct the work of others.​

· Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, including public speaking.​

· Ability to maintain effective working relationships.​

The ETL Application Developer plays a lead role in developing and integrating applications. Sets standards to ensure systems solutions are developed/implemented that achieve business requirements.

Professional Qualifications:

10+ years experience in the complete software development lifecycle.

4+ years experience in a similar Application Architect or Technical Lead role.

5+ years experience in relational databases (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, and/or DB2)

Extensive experience implementing Informatica ETL solutions, including performing data analysis and profiling, creating mappings, workflows, etc.

Experience in decision support / business intelligence concepts, leading practices and tools such as MicroStrategy, Cognos, etc.

The Network Operations Engineer position is responsible for day to day operations of Go Daddy networks. This includes configuration and support of internal and external networks.
