Summary
Responsible for evaluating and planning optimal network capacity utilization and design requirementsspecific to the Level 3 IP Edge network and elements associated with an industry leading IP network. Undertakes specific network simplification and network enablement projects.

Essential Duties
*Documents detailed technical methodology for installation of network equipment of moderate complexity, including written directions, graphical equipment layouts, and equipment topology.
*Ensures all capacity constraints are identified such that all due dates are met and potential issues identified with proposed solutions.
*Understands currentIP Edge network configuration and technology to ensure capacity and efficiency of the planned designsincluding the leading vendors in this space.
*Assists in requirements, development, implementation and use of reporting procedures and methodologies to analyzeIP network utilization and predicts growth trends under periodic supervision.
*Prepares status/progress reports and updates management on projects. May participate in development of reports under general supervision.
*May participate in cross functional teams to better understand the architecture and operations of the IP network along with other Level 3 or external networks with periodic supervision.

Summary
Responsible for providing system and reporting support for all company business groups. Works closely with internal HR customers to facilitate and manage system and reporting needs.
