Job Title: Software Engineer (SE3) WebViewer Product Team

Department: R&D

Description: We are currently looking for a Software Engineer with
experience developing production quality applications utilizing C# and
Microsoft development tools.



The product that the successful candidate will be working on is the next
generation of an existing Web based product. The GUI application
development is new from the ground up and utilizes a SOA framework for
middle and database tiers that is in place for all new product
development at ZOLL. Additional technologies include mapping, routing
and data mining algorithms. The person in this position will be working
on all tiers of the application.



We are seeking individuals with demonstrable skills utilizing the
following technologies:



- SQL Server: must know T-SQL and be able develop/debug stored
procedures and be able to analyze/profile stored procedures for
performance tuning.

- SOA: Must be familiar with web services and .NET Remoting and
understand tiered application development.

- Web: Must have experience developing web front end
applications utilizing ASP.NET and AJAX. Experience developing
applications for mobile browsers a plus.



A degree in an Engineering discipline or related field is desired, but
not required if you can demonstrate success in the technologies

Position Description



The Technical Support Specialist provides technical support for McKesson products operating in a UNIX, Linux client/server environment with Oracle database systems. Solutions are highly complex and considered mission-critical in the healthcare industry, requiring rapid resolution.

Minimum Requirements



*4-6 years experience in a customer-facing technical support role

*Strong understanding of UNIX, Linux System architecture and commands

*Good working knowledge of SQL

*Good understanding of TCP/IP, OSI layers

*General understanding of Oracle RAC

*Experience with distributed applications running in a load leveled environment preferred

The Sun Java Directory Services Principal Analyst role is to work collectively with a team to ensure stable operation of Staples Directory Services environment. The service environment is comprised of Windows Active Directory, Sun Java System Directory Services, and Open LDAP distributed across 28 countries and multiple lines of business. The team is responsible for architecture, engineering, maintenance and support of directory services and those applications that utilize them.

* Develop, socialize and implement long term strategic plans to support the Directory Service requirements of all Staples lines of business. Solutions must be architecturally sound, stable, robust, scalable and adaptable to other efforts.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
* Sun certifications preferred but not required.
* Understanding of PCI/SOX and other compliance requirements is helpful.
* 5-7 years experience with Sun Java System Directory Services in a large corporate environment.
* Experience with Linux and Open LDAP is very helpful.
* Experience with Sun Identify and Access Manager is helpful.
* Experience supporting complex directory service environments on a global scale as well as participated in migration from iPlanet or Sun Java System DS v5.x.

Unified Communications (UC) framework and solution set that will support the company's business objectives.
The objectives are as follows:
i) enhanced communication and interaction between internal staff as well as external

Working in tandem with the other domain engineers,
the IT infrastructure architect and operations staff,
the position will be responsible for:

- maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the UC domain and its evolution;
- understanding business requirements and opportunities;

- facilitating fixed / mobile telephony convergence;
- developing solutions spanning the entire UC domain
and across all types of fixed and mobile end-points
(e.g., desk phones, soft phones on PCs, UC apps on smart phones

This position does not have any staff directly reporting to it.

Experience Required

- Extensive experience (10+ years) in data networking (WAN, LAN) and telephony (both TDM and VoIP/SIP).
- Thorough understanding of the Unified Communications domain, technologies and trends,
vendor solutions and their relative pros and cons from multiple perspectives
(e.g., functionality, integration, interfaces, ease of use and administration, cost, vendor reputation).
- A good understanding of operating system level considerations related to VoIP.
- Average to advanced experience in the configuration and operation of traditional and IP PBXs.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft's Office Communication Server infrastructure
as it relates to UC and specifically with OCS 2007 R2 voice support.
- Experience interfacing Avaya or other IP PBXs to Microsoft OCS 2007 R2 via QSIG and SIP gateways.
- At least one successful UC deployment in a mid-size enterprise (>2K employees).
- Project management experience across projects involving multiple staff and vendors,
Nx$100K budgets and the ability to consistently deliver to scope, time, resources (budget) and quality objectives.
- Solid background in disciplined solutions engineering processes and familiarity with
process-based IT frameworks such as ITIL and CMM.
- Above-average communication skills in writing and orally, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word as well as Visio or CAD.
- Capacity to manage changing priorities and ambiguity while remaining calm and controlled.
