Recondo Technology is developing software to improve Revenue Cycle
Management for Health Care Providers. This software will be deployed as
an application service (SaaS) and to support business process services.
We have an immediate opening for a Database Architect and Developer to
work in our Centennial, Colorado office as part of an agile development
team. We are implementing a multi-tenant database using a generic
model.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the team developing The
Data Access Layer and the Business Objects supporting the entire suite
of applications. This position will require minimal travel. You will
receive training and mentoring in our core technology and understand how
we are applying a best of breed approach in developing our solution.

Duties and Responsibilities may include:
- Database modeling; modify and create new database schemas.
- Design complex queries and stored procedures, triggers, views,
database engine specific packages.
- Development and support of Data Access and Business Objects.
- Performance monitoring and database tuning.
- Analyze business processes and derive/develop and document
system/database requirements.
- Actively participate in System Testing to validate requirements,
particularly the data-related requirements.
- Develop and prepare stored procedures, reports, and user defined
functions.
- Conduct data integration, including imports and exports.
- Engage in support activities for existing solutions.
- Provide support for user testing activities.
- Solve problems and overcome obstacles in order to succeed on assigned
projects and tasks and support team members in a collaborative
environment.
- Attend meetings for the purpose of requirements gathering, conducting
in depth analysis of those requirements, defining the project scope,
designing the system, and writing the programs.
- Creation and editing of useful and meaningful documentation.
- Managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Recommend Database design on assigned projects & tasks.
- Train, support and mentor Operations Support database staff members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires a demonstrated success in defining, building and
operating complex data environments using varying database technologies
and engines. It also requires current programming experience in Java and
XML technologies. We would prefer a bachelor's degree in Computer
Science or Computer Engineering or clearly demonstrated equivalent
experience and working knowledge of:
- PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server
- Outstanding data modeling skills
- Knowledge of data access related security issues and best practices
- SQL
- Collaboration in an agile environment

Job Description
The Database Analyst will have responsibility for data quality, data mining, troubleshooting, database querying and reporting, and communicating between business and IT in the performance of these responsiblities. This position will work in our Colorado office and interface with NextAction's data services and production teams, as well as offshore resources. The candidate should have knowledge within and meet the majority of the following requirements:
Skills and Qualifications
· Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL databases
· Intimate with PL/SQL, Unix Shell, SQL, T-SQL, DTS packages, and SSIS development
· Experience with standard concepts, practices and procedures relating to data manipulation
· Strong problem solving and investigative skills
· Ability to track and understand data elements from varied sources
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
