Find Success & Advancement with a Growing SaaS Leader
Trackvia is a VC-backed software company based in the Denver metro
area that publishes an online database application
(www.trackvia.com). Our tagline is "At Last, a Usable Database" and
Trackvia's speed and ease-of-use make it a compelling solution for
companies in need of a better way to track information. We've
achieved 24 consecutive months of revenue growth, and we're just
getting started. Our founders have previously created and managed
successful technology startups, and have built a work environment
that's fun, challenging, and rewarding. One of our investors is an
early Google employee who's now retired, and who believes the same
can happen for Trackvia's early employees – could this be you?...
Trackvia is looking for a very bright, experienced, senior programmer
to lead our software development team. Candidate will share
responsibility for Trackvia's product with, and report directly to,
Trackvia's founder and CTO. In plain language, we're looking for a
hard-core LAMP nerd who has been around long enough to be wise in the
ways of building great software.
Responsibilities include everything necessary for building
innovative, nearly flawless features as part of a small, smart, and
agile team. These activities include new feature design, technical
analysis, software engineering, programming, testing and integration.
Requirements
• extremely strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with multiple programming languages, including an
object-oriented language – Perl preferred
• deep knowledge of relational database concepts and
techniques, MySQL preferred
• deep knowledge of assorted web-based application technologies
(for example, Apache configuration, HTML DOM, JavaScript and AJAX,
etc.)
• strong Unix skills, Linux preferred
• server infrastructure knowledge a plus (for example, NFS,
rsynch, SVN, make, etc.)
• 5+ years experience in programming commercial software or
business systems
• 4-year college degree – CS, math, or science strongly
preferred, advanced degree a plus
Compensation for this position will be commensurate with skills and
experience, and includes health, dental and vision insurance, plus
stock options. To apply for this position, please send your resume
