The Architect II will perform necessary duties to design, maintain, and optimize multiple schemas and databases in Oracle 10g that contain customer information. The successful candidate will be a self starter willing to learn current business structure and architecture and apply their expertise for next generation business solutions.
The role of the Data Architect builds and refines data architecture in a complex distributed database environment, participates in data architecture, analysis, and design, focusing on and leading the areas of data migration and data integration architecture for IT. This individual will often act as the primary advocate of data modeling methodologies and data processing best practices. This position requires a demonstrated accomplishment of data architecture and data management assignments that required a wide range knowledge of requirements and techniques pertinent to the position to be filled. Data architecture and data management include data analysis and design, master data management, reference data management, database administration, data security management, metadata management, data warehousing, business intelligence, and data quality improvement.
College Degree or equivalent (Bachelors in Computer Science preferable)
Oracle 10g or higher certified

• 5+ years of experience designing oracle schemas
• 5 + years of experience partitioning cubes is a plus
• 5+ years of experience with reporting (Hyperion/Brio preferred)
