Job Description
This position is for a Windows Administrator in the Information
Technology Infrastructure and Operations (ITI&O) organization
Information Services Office. The staff member will have
responsibility for performing Windows systems administration
functions for the Windows 2003 Server environment. Experience with
VmWare, SAN, Backup-utilities, Exchange Server is desired.
Responsibilities
Windows System Administration - 30%
-- Perform basic Windows SA duties:
-- Install and maintain Windows operating systems and applications
-- Active Directory administration
-- Backups and restores
-- Apply patches and maintain prudent cyber security
-- Troubleshoot system and network problems
-- Performance monitoring
Technical Consulting 50%
-- Consult with staff to understand their IT requirements and
recommend solutions
-- Partner with IS staff to evaluate new technologies
-- Work with staff, contractors and vendors to resolve complex system
and network integration issues
Project Management 15%
-- Participate in a change management process to plan and manage the
installation of new systems, upgrades to existing systems and
enhancements to the IT infrastructure

-- Perform timely documentation for all infrastructure supported

Requirements
„-- 5 years experience (minimum) in Windows Server system
administration including Windows Server 2003.

We are currently seeking candidates for a Senior Software Engineer position in our Boulder, Colorado office.
This position performs high-level analysis and design of software programs and systems; designs, modifies, and tests programs and systems; ensures the reliability, scalability, and stability of software and maintains a deep understanding of OCLC (netLibrary) technologies.
