The Library Corporation is currently looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer (SQA) to work at our office in Denver, CO. This is an opportunity to develop your career and positively impact the success of major accounts, while working with very exciting products!

The SQA Engineer will be responsible for developing test assets and conducting product testing.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

* Provide technical design for software test strategies.
* Plan, design, implement and execute test assets including, test suites, test plans, test cases, automated and manual test scripts, test harnesses, and test data.
* Participate in software design meetings.
* Design and maintain test environments using multiple hardware configurations on operating systems including but not limited to Windows, UNIX, and Linux.
* Log defects in the company defect tracking software.
* Determine platform certification readiness.
* Design and execute performance benchmark tests and metrics.
* Reduce number of defects that *escape* and are therefore identified in Production.
* Measure test coverage (e.g. requirements coverage and/or code coverage).
* Review documentation and project materials for quality.
* Build and maintain project plans.
* Research and understand all new software releases, service packs, and patches that may affect the deployment and operation of the application under test.
* Create and execute test plans to validate the deployment of the application under test.


Required Education, Experience and Abilities:

* BA/BS degree or higher in related field and/or comparable work experience
* Expert understanding of software quality assurance principles and practices.
* Demonstrated expertise in design, development, and execution of software tests, preparing test assets and in troubleshooting complex, distributed software applications
* Experience with database development and management
* Working knowledge of Java, SQL, XML, Oracle.
* Experience with automated testing tools (Silk, Load Runner, Win Runner)
* Basic project management skills, as well as excellent communication, and analytical skills.
* Expert understanding of software development life-cycle methodologies, especially in relation to quality-related roles, activities and metrics.
* Self Starter who can largely manage their own work and have primary ownership of test projects
* Excellent communication skills and results oriented with a good track record working in a team environment with other highly motivated software professionals

REQUIREMENTS

* Experience managing web application development teams with

applications for both Business-to-Consumer and Business-to-Business
users is preferable.

* 8+ years experience leading eCommerce technical design and
development of architecture, presentation layer and backend database
applications focused on subscription services, shopping cart, payment
processing, pro-rated billing functions, account management, web
analytics, and online marketing testing tools. Extensive knowledge of
eCommerce development methods is required.

* Strong team leader, able to lead technically by example as
well as hands on.

* Demonstrated ability to optimize productivity of team through
mentorship, coaching,

* Exceptional communicator with ability to communicate to all
audiences - development team, business teams, other technical teams and
senior management.

* Ability to attract, recruit and manage highly qualified

* Thorough understanding of Web Services including WSDL, SOAP,
and XML.

* Experience using Java and Java Application Servers and
deploying and using Content Management Servers/Applications.

* Experience with Akamai a strong plus.

Inside Technical Account Manager - Software


Rally Software Development (www.rallydev.com) located in Boulder, CO is
a dynamic, growing company that provides software-driven enterprises
with the knowledge, coaching and tooling needed to succeed with Agile
development practices.

Due to our success, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Inside
Technical Account Manager.


Responsibilities include:


* Team with account managers through all aspects of the sales
cycle.
* Present and demonstrate Rally's products and services.
* Manage product trials and prepare RFP/RFI responses.
* Act as a liaison between customers and product development to
manage issues and collect feedback Manage web-conference training
* Assist in writing technical documentation
* Coordinate resources to facilitate additional sales, training
and consulting.


Qualifications:


* 5+ years experience in technology/software organizations with a
solid software development background and understanding of application
lifecycle management.
* Experience with Agile processes such as Scrum, XP, Lean, FDD,
DSDM, or Crystal.
* Experience selling software solutions, prefer 3-5 years in a
sales engineer, trainer, consultant or support role.
* Must be autonomous and organized with effective communication
skills, listening, verbal and written.
* Possess superior problem solving skills with a proven ability to
exercise sound judgment to solve complex issues, recognize business
critical situations and escalate as needed.
* Excellent presentation, demonstration and facilitation skills.
* Team player with interpersonal skills to work with sales and
support staff in a dynamic and innovative company environment.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science/technology or equivalent
related experience.
