Opportunity
We are currently looking for an entry-level Software Engineer to
join the Anark Professional Services. Candidates for this position
will have some object-oriented programming experience and have
knowledge of the stages of software development, from requirements
definition and analysis through final test and build. The ideal
candidate will have Microsoft .Net application development
experience. As an Anark Software Engineer, you will develop custom
applications for product configuration for major customers in
aerospace.
Responsibilities
Design and develop sophisticated UI controls in C# for use in
product configuration.
Develop thick client applications that leverage Anark's ability with
3D and user interface development.
Communicate project/issue status in a reliable and accurate manner
through appropriate tools and processes.
Work with our QA team to develop detailed acceptance criteria and
test plans which will provide guidance and metrics for the software
development process.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
.NET UI development skills.
Good compiled and/or interpreted OOP skills (C#, Java, C++,
JavaScript).
Good web development skills a plus: HTML, DHTML, and XML.
Good Windows platform programming skills a plus (WPF, WTL, ATL).
Strong team collaboration skills ability to work well with internal
and external teams, including customers and vendors.
Multimedia application development experience (game development,
Flash, etc.) desirable.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong customer service skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
Forward thinking, able to work with minimal direction and exercise
judgment when solving problems.
Willing and able to learn new technologies and skills.
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The QA Technical Support Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and support of the server environments used to test the Horizon Clinicals Suite of products that are developed in the Louisville, CO office. The selected candidate will have general knowledge of software testing processes in a managed test environment, with specific experience in building and maintaining complex and highly integrated application environments. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate experience in the strategic design, development, and implementation of QA Test Environments to drive efficiency and effectiveness of the QA team. The right candidate for this role will be a intermediate-level Oracle DBA with a mix of QA and possibly some technical support skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
*Installing and configuring software in various platforms across multiple release levels
*Supporting test staff, playing key role in diagnosing and resolving software deployment issues
*Creating strategies, plans, and schedules for the build and maintenance of test environments
*Gathering testing requirements across the organization and implementing as appropriate
*Writes, revises, and verifies quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to ascertain quality of software
*Tests programs for validity or results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to established standards.
Minimum Requirements
*5+ years experience in software test environment configuration/and or related
*Understanding of Oracle Database System Administration, including ASM and RAC cluster technology
*Strong SQL, PLSQL, and SQL scripts skills
*Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity of the UNIX and LINUX OS, including knowledge of file structure and file manipulation commands
*Experience performing basis system management functions and navigation, including file permissions and access
*Previous shell scripting experience
*Experience using 3rd party DB tools Toad and/or DBVisualizer
*Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and resolving complex test environment configuration issues
*Demonstrated commitment to quality, and teamwork
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*Basic knowledge of Software Quality Assurances best practices and methodology
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
*1+ years experience using Mercury Quality Center (Test Director)
*1+ years experience using an Automated Testing tool, preferably Mercury Quick Test Pro
*1+ years software testing experience
*Experience in a team lead role, with project planning and execution
Education
4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
