The Database Developer's role is to develop and analyze database
systems
while ensuring high levels of data quality. This individual is also
responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing database

Developer will design and implement relational database models (logical
and physical) and database storage objects. Candidate must be a team

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server 2005 transactional
databases, data warehouses and multidimensional databases
* Develop, maintain and document ETL processes and custom database
processes
* Develop SQL scripts, procedures, and SSIS packages
* Create data models and schema that meets the business
requirements
* Analyze data issues, identify problems, and develop appropriate
solutions while ensuring database integrity
* Develop and track estimates for project tasks and deliverables
* Remain current with system enhancements and new products
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent. Industry
experience is acceptable
* 2-3 years experience as a database developer
* Strong experience with Transact-SQL
* Proficiency with SQL Server (2000 and 2005) databases
* Data modeling
* Detailed knowledge of current database concepts and principals
* Familiarity with SQL management tools (SQL Profiler, Enterprise
Manager, Management Studio, Visual Studio)
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Profile:
This position will be responsible for Project Management duties related
to planning, directing and coordinating activities for our customers
requesting Wholesale Voice, Data and IP services under the SI Channel
within the CPM organization. This position will be accountable for
overall project implementation of customer projects, managing
aggressive
timelines, coordinating deliverables and interfacing with internal
groups
and providing status updates to customers and management. Ensuring
project goals and objectives are accomplished by using best practice
methodologies.
Essential Functions:
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5-7 years in the
Telecommunications experience in either Project Management or a
technical
related field. The position requires a strong technical background in
Data, IP and Voice services and excellent project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written);
ability to
manage multiple tasks simultaneously; and a professional
demeanor/attitude are required. Experience in interfacing with
internal and external
customers with a proven track record toward effective management of
the project/customer expectations.
This position requires a strong technical background in Data, Voice and
IP Services and excellent project management skills. A minimum of 3-5
years experience is required.

* Experience leading/managing a team of 4 or more.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
* Should possess effective written and verbal communications
skills
for both a technical and non technical audience.
* Must have a strong understanding of ticketing systems to
prioritize and manage workload.
* Must have a strong understanding of Microsoft products and
information systems development.
* Must be able to participate in a team environment and
communicate
effectively.
* Strong analysis and customer service skills required.
* Sound problem resolution, judgment and decision making skills
required.
* Demonstrated development or operational experience of the
following software
o Windows Server 2003
