Senior SQA Engineer
Establishes state-of-the-art techniques for the design and development
of test strategies and plans, and where appropriate, the automated test
strategy implementation for products. The Quality Engineer at this
level
demonstrates exceptional technical comprehension and applies working
knowledge of quality assurance best practices and metrics while leading
a group of one to two persons.
Qualifications
* Degree in Computer Science, Quality Assurance or equivalent
experience or certifications
* Minimum six years professional experience
* Familiarity with programming languages and architectures
* Experience with client/server and software verification and
validation
* Knowledge of UNIX, including Shell scripting and system
administration skills
* Basic knowledge of J2EE, Web technologies and/or services based
architectures
* Demonstrated proficiency of multiple development methodologies
* Experience with test bed set up and configuration
* Ability to demonstrate ability and capable of training in the
practice of requirements analysis, decomposition and design, creation
and execution of test plans and test cases to provide verification
traceability of those requirements
* Experience with testing tools, their application and can
demonstrate proficiency in their basic use
* Expert level use and administration of testing tools
(commercial
or open source)
* Proficiency in some combination of the following technologies:
ASP, C / C++, COM, HTML, Java, JavaScript, MFC, SQL, Visual Basic,
Visual Studio, Windows NT
* Advanced knowledge of test automation and custom function
creation
* Experience with Change Request tracking tools
* Previous experience developing test automation with widely used
test tools from test scripts or project requirements
